남부뉴저지통합한국학교 2023-2024학년도 조기등록을 받습니다. 조기 등록을 하시면 10%의 조기등록 할인혜택을 받습니다. 등록비는 $460이고 조기등록비는 $414입니다. 형제할인은 홈페이지를 참고하시기 바랍니다. 조기등록 기간은 2023년 5월 1일부터 5월 31일까지입니다. KSSNJ is now accepting early registration for the 2023-2024 school year. If you register early, you will receive a 10% discount on the registration fee. The registration fee is $460, and the early registration fee is $414. Please refer to our website for information on sibling discounts. The early registration period runs from May 1st to May 31st, 2023.
우리학교는 재미한국학교 협의회가 주최하는 각종 한국어 말하기 및 글쓰기 전국대회에서 큰 상을 받아 양질의 한국어 교육기관으로 입증된 학교입니다. 2014년에 무용단을, 2016년에 모듬북단을 창단하여 여느 대한민국의 예술학교 못지않은 실력을 갖추고 커뮤니티 내에서 공연 봉사활동을 하면서 한국어 뿐 아니라 한국문화부문에서도 두각을 나타내고 있습니다. 수년간 한국전통문화예술단을 운영해온 노하우로, 신학기 부터는 1학년부터 6학년 대상의 특화반을 필수과정으로 확장합니다. 7학년부터 11학년까지는 선택과목으로 원하는 학생들은 신청할 수 있습니다. Our school has been recognized as a high-quality Korean language educational institution by winning major awards at various Korean speaking and writing national competitions sponsored by the NAKS (National Association for Korean Schools). We have also established KSSNJ K-Dance Company in 2014 and KSSNJ K-Percussion Company in 2016, showcasing our artistic skills and contributing to the community through performing volunteer work. We have been running KSSNJ K-Arts Company for several years, and starting from this semester, we will expand to offer specialized classes for students from 1st to 6th grade as mandatory courses. Students from 7th to 11th grade can choose these classes as electives.
특별반은 가야금 병창단, 합창단, 미술특화반, 한국무용단, 모듬북단, 사물놀이단 중에서 선택해야 합니다. 9회의 월 렛슨비 $56 (조기등록 할인가 $50)가 있습니다. 가야금 병창을 선택할 경우 12회의 가야금 악기 대여비 월 $30 이 추가됩니다. 재외동포재단, 남부뉴저지교회협의회, 그 외 커뮤니티의 개인 후원이 있었기에 가능한 프로그램입니다. Special classes include Gayageum (Korean stringed instrument) ensemble, Art specialized class, KSSNJ Choir, K-Dance Company, K-Percussion Company, and Samulnori . The monthly lesson fee is $56 for 9 sessions (early registration: $50). If you choose to take the gayageum ensemble class, there will be an additional monthly fee of $30 for the rental of the gayageum instrument for 12 months. This program was made possible by Overseas Korean Foundation, the Southern New Jersey Council of Churches and individual donations in our community.
한국어 수업 또한 중급이상의 학생에게는 모듈수업으로 전환합니다. 읽기, 쓰기, 말하기/듣기 영역을 구분하여 담당 교사가 좀 더 집중적으로 각 학생의 레벨에 맞추어 진행하는 방식으로 수업할 예정이며, 여름방학 동안 상세 계획을 완성하여 9월 신학기부터는 학생들의 영역별 상세 수준까지 케어하는 특별한 프로그램으로 학생들을 맞이하겠습니다. For Korean language classes, we will switch to a modular system for intermediate-level and higher students. The teacher will focus more on each student's level by dividing the classes into reading, writing, and speaking/listening sections. We will finalize the detailed plans during the summer break and will greet our students with this special program from the September semester.

- 가야금 병창 (NOT AVAILABLE): 가야금병창은 직접 가야금을 타면서 노래부르는 것을 말합니다. 미국에서 경험하기 힘든 매우 특별한 한국전통음악장르로 우리 학생들을 초대합니다. 가장 한국적인 것이 가장 세계적인 것이고, 자신만의 유니크한 재능을 길러 커뮤니티의 예술세계에 풍부하게 기여하도록 교육하겠습니다. 현재 뉴욕 뉴저지 코넥티컷 로드아일랜드 등지에서 활발하게 활동을 하고 있는 오정희 명창을 강사로 모셨습니다. Gayageum ensemble refers to singing while playing the gayageum instrument directly. We invite our students to experience a very special genre of traditional Korean music that is hard to come by in the United States. The most Korean thing is the most global thing, and we encourage our students to cultivate their unique talents and contribute to the community's art world. We have invited the renowned performer Junghee Oh, who is currently actively performing in various locations such as New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Rhode Island, as an instructor.

- 합창단 - 본교 합창단은 음악을 통해 한인청소년들에게 이중언어의 더 효과적인 교육을 제공합니다. 서울예고를 거쳐 서울대학교 음악대학 성악과 수석 입학 및 수석 졸업, Curtis 음대 오페라과 석사 졸업, 럿거스 음대 박사 졸업 후 대학교 음악교육 및 공연 등 활발하게 활동 중인 김성지 소프라노를 강사로 모셨습니다. 또한 체리힐제일교회 지휘자, 필라델피아 오케스트라 심포닉 합창단원으로 활동 중인 장진아 소프라노를 부강사 겸 반주자로 모셨습니다. 재미한국학교 동중부협의회 동요대회를 비롯한 각종 커뮤니티에서 다채로운 활동을 할 예정입니다. KSSNJ choir provides bilingual education more effectively to Korean-American youth through music. We have invited soprano Sungji Kim as an instructor, who graduated with top honors from Seoul National University's Department of Vocal Music and Curtis Institute of Music's Opera Department, and received her doctorate from Rutgers University's music school. She is actively engaged in music education at universities and performances. In addition, we have invited Jina Jang, a soprano who is also active as a conductor at FKUMC and as a member of the Philadelphia Orchestra Symphonic Choir, to serve as our assistant instructor and accompanist. KSSNJ Choir will be participating in various community events, including the NAKS-MAC children's singing contest.

- 미술특화반 - 권종현 작가의 작품은 작은 헝겁 조각 들을 주재료로 이와 더불어 형형색색의 작은 구슬들 그리고 반짝이는 스팽글등의 꼴라쥬로된 작고 이쁜 꿈을 꾸는듯한 마을을 표현한 작품입니다. 권종현 작가는 현재 본교 미술교사이면서 국내외 미술전시에 꾸준하게 출품하며 활발한 활동을 이어가고 있습니다. 어린 시절 미술교육은 성인이 되어서 사회생활까지도 크게 도움이 되는 중요한 교육입니다. Art specialized class - Kwon Jong-hyun's artworks are made up of small pieces of wood shavings, along with various colors of small beads and sparkling spangles, creating a small and beautiful dream-like village. Kwon Jong-hyun is currently an arts teacher at our school and continues to actively participate in domestic and international art exhibitions. Art education in childhood is an important education that can be very helpful even in adult life.

- KSSNJ K-Dance Company: 본교 한국무용단은 2014년에 창단, 미 동부지역 각종 커뮤니티 행사에서 매우 활발한 공연봉사활동을 하고 있습니다. 국가무형문화재 이매방류 승무 전수자 김케이트 전문강사와 본교 무용단 출신 김수연 교사가 지도합니다. 본교 무용단은 2022년 제20회 세계한국국악경연대회 최우수상을 수상했고, 연간 20회 이상 무대에서 최고의 기량을 뽐내고 있습니다. 신규단원을 환영합니다. KSSNJ K-Dance Company was founded in 2014 and has been actively performing and volunteering at various community events in the eastern region of the United States. The troupe is led by professional instructor Kate Kim, who is the inheritor of Intangible Cultural Heritage, Imaebang Seungmu dance, and teacher Amanda Kim, who is an alumna of KSSNJ K-Dance Company. The troupe has won the grand prize at the 20th World Korean Traditional Music Competition in 2022 and performs more than 20 times a year with their outstanding skills. We welcome new members to join our troupe.

- KSSNJ K-Percussion Company: 본교 모듬북단은 2016년에 창단하여 무용단과 함께 각종 커뮤니티 행사에서 매우 활발한 공연봉사활동을 하고 있습니다. 본교 문화예술부문 파트너단체 뉴욕취타대 단원인 윤도영 강사와 모듬북단의 인턴교사들이 지도합니다. 본교 모듬북단은 2022년 제20회 세계한국국악경연대회 대상을 수상했습니다. 신규단원을 환영합니다. KSSNJ K-Percussion Company was founded in 2016 and actively performs at various community events along with KSSNJ K-Dance Company. It is led by instructor Steven Yoon, a member of KTMB, and guided by intern teachers of the Company. KSSNJ K-Percussion Company won the Grand Prize at the 20th World Korean Traditional Music Competition in 2022. New members are welcome to join.

- KSSNJ Samulnori: 본교 사물놀이단은 2016년에 창단하여 무용단, 모듬북단과 함께 각종 커뮤니티 행사에서 활발한 공연봉사활동을 하고 있습니다. 본교 문화예술부문 파트너단체 뉴욕취타대 단원인 윤도웅 강사가 지도합니다. 지난 2년간 장구연주자를 중점적으로 양육했습니다. 2023-2024에 사물놀이단 신규단원을 모집합니다. KSSNJ Samulnori, was founded in 2016 and actively participates in various community events alongside our K-Dance Company and K-Percussion Company. Our instructor, Joshua Yoon, is a member of KTMB which is a partner organization in our school's cultural and arts division. For the past two years, we have focused on cultivating talented Janggu players. We are now recruiting new members for our Samulnori ensemble for the 2023-2024 season.
