학교규칙 준수사항

 

소지품

학생은 등교시 교과서, 숙제물, 노트 및 필기 도구 와 수업에 필요한 물품 이외의 개인소지품, 귀중품 등 수업에 관계없는 물건이나 장난감, 혹은 위험한 물건 (무기 등등)의 소지를 금합니다.

 

행사참여

학생들의 발표력 과 성장을 위해 교내 발표회 및 행사 와 교외적으로는 동중부협의회에서 행하는 백일장 및 그림 그리기 대회, 백범일지 독후감대회, 동요대회, 나의 꿈 말하기 대회와 재미한국학교에서 주관하는 대한민국 바로 알리기, 스펠링비와 같은 행사에 적극 참여를 권장합니다.

 

규칙

학생들의 안전과 즐거운 학교생활을 위하여 교내에서는 캠든 카운티 초,중,고등학교 규칙을 준수하는 것을 원칙으로 합니다.
학생들은 담임선생님, 교장선생님, 교감선생님의 조언에 적극 협조하며 즐거운 학교생활이 되도록 최선을 다합니다.
규칙을 되풀이 하여 어기는 학생은 담임 선생님, 교장 선생님, 교감선생님과 학부모님의 면담이 주선 되며 다음학기 등록시 우선 순위를 잃게 될 수도 있습니다.

 

복장

캠든카운티 체리힐지역 초, 중, 고등학교에서 정한 바와 같습니다.

 

사고의 책임

학생이 학교의 건물이나 기타 물건을 훼손했을 경우에는 학부모가 책임지고 보상해야 합니다.
남부뉴저지통합한국학교에서는 교장, 교감 이하 모든 선생님들이 학생들의 안전을 위해 최선을 다할 것입니다.
그러나 학교에서 일어난 어떠한 사고에 대해서도 교사나, 학교에서는 책임지지 않습니다.

학부모님의 협조

1. 가정에서 부모님과 좋은 대화를 한국어로 사용하여 학생들의 듣기와 배운 과정을 보시고 자녀와 대화를 나누기를 권장 합니다.
2. 담임 선생님과 면담이 필요시에는 미리 연락하셔서 수업시간이 아닌 시간에 대화를 나누시기를 바랍니다. 가능하시면 이메일을 이용하시면 좋겠습니다.
3. 학생들의 안전과 책임을 바르게 하기 위하여 외부행사시 필요한 교통편은 부모님이 제공하는 것을 원칙으로 합니다. 카풀을 원하는 경우에는 학부모님의 동의서를 필요로 합니다.
4. 학교 행사(교내 및 교외 행사, 발표회 등)에는 부모님 중 한 분은 꼭 참석하셔야 합니다. 기타 교내 외 모든 행사에 부모님들의 자발적참여를 부탁드립니다.
5. 학부모님들께서는 학생들이 원활하게 정상수업을 할 수 있도록 학생들을 9시 30분 전까지 입실 시켜 주시기 바랍니다. 결석이나 조퇴시에는 사전에 담임 선생님께 미리 메일이나 전화로 연락주시기 바랍니다.
6. 학생들의 안전과 보호를 위하여 수업 후 학생 픽업은 반드시 학교 강당이나 실내에서 픽업해 주시기 바랍니다.
*모든 규칙은 남부뉴저지통합한국학교 임원회에서 첨가, 삭제, 수정할 수 있습니다.

 

학생자격

수업시간

토요일 오전 9시 30분부터 오후 12시 30분까지입니다.
지각 조퇴 결석 시 담임 교사나 학교 담당자에게 이메일, 전화 또는 편지로 미리 알려 주시면 됩니다.
무단 결석 5회 시에는 스스로 학업을 중단한 것으로 처리됩니다.

 

학기구분

1년에 2학기입니다.
1학기는 9월 노동절이 지난 토요일부터
2학기는 학기 시작 후 17주째 토요일부터 5월 넷째 토요일 까지를 기준으로 하되 캠들 카운티 체리힐 지역 학교 스케줄과 기상 변화에 따라 날짜가 변경이 있을 수도 있습니다.

 

학교등록

재학생은 5월 둘째 주부터 우선 등록을 합니다. 신입생은 추후에 공고된 등록 일정에 따라 등록을 할 수 있습니다.
정원이 차게 되면 등록기간 중이라도 등록을 마감합니다. (등록금이 완납되어야 등록된 것으로 합니다) 단 대기자 명단에 순서대로 이름을 올릴 수 있습니다.
등록금은 학기당 정한 금액입니다. 형제 할인은 둘째 학생부터이고 등록금 환불은 하지 않습니다.
교재비는 별도이고 반별로 다릅니다.

 

등록방법

등록은 이메일이나 전화로 먼저 문의를 하시기 바랍니다.
남부뉴저지통합한국학교에 학생을 등록하시려면 학생 등록부(입학원서)를 작성하셔서 등록금과 함께 제출해주시기 바랍니다.
학생 등록부(입학원서)는 학교 홈페이지에서 다운로드 받으실 수 있고 또는 학교에서 받으실 수 있습니다.
등록은 우편으로나 직접 하실 수 있습니다.

등록금 및 등록 방법은 학교 홈페이지에 명시되어 있습니다. 변경 사항 등이 있을 경우에는 재학생의 경우에는 가정통신문으로 알려드리고, 학교 웹페이지나 달력에 따로 공시됩니다.
등록은 반드시 마감일 전에 해주시기 바랍니다.

 

폭력, 위협 및 괴롭힘 (HIB)

뉴저지는 학교에서 폭력, 위협 및 괴롭힘(HIB)의 예방, 해결 및 보고를 지원하는 강력한 법률적 규정, 규제 정책 및 프로그램 프레임워크의 수립에서 선도적인 역할을 해왔습니다. 아래에는 학교가 HIB 정책을 수립하고 HIB 프로그램 전략을 채택하며 HIB에 대한 선제적 대응을 시행하고 효과적인 HIB 보고 절차를 채택하는 데 도움이 되는 정보와 자료가 제공됩니다.

주요 후속조치 요약 

• 사건 조사: 사건을 철저하게 조사한다. 이 과정에서 사건의 경중을 평가하고 관련된 증거와 증언을 수집한다.
• 학교의 학생 행동 규칙과 학교 규정, 주정부 교육방침을 확인하여 어떤 정책을 위반했는지 파악. 이러한 정책은 욕설, 폭력 행위 및 괴롭힘에 대한 규정을 포함할 수 있다.
• 학생들과의 면담: 관련 학생들과 개별적으로 대화를 나누어 사건에 대한 설명을 듣고, 그들의 관점을 이해한다. 학생들에게 자신의 행동에 대한 책임을 느끼게 하고 다시는 이러한 행동을 하지 말아야 한다는 메시지를 전달한다.

• 예방 조치: 이러한 사건이 재발하지 않도록 예방 조치를 취할 필요가 있다. 학교 내에서 괴롭힘 예방 프로그램을 개발하거나 강화하여 학생들에게 적절한 행동과 존중을 가르치는 것이 중요하다.
• 기록 보존: 사건과 관련된 모든 문서를 정확하게 기록. 이는 나중에 필요한 경우에 학교, 부모, 또는 법적 당국과의 소통에 필요.
• 부모와의 소통: 사건과 관련된 학생의 부모와 소통하여 사건과 관련된 정보를 공유하고 학생들에 대한 조치 계획을 설명.

 

 

School Policies

 

Belongings

Students are prohibited from carrying personal belongings, valuables, or dangerous items such as weapons, sharp knives, awls that they are threatening to others and that are not related to the classes. Students are allowed to carry textbooks, homework materials, notebooks, writing utensils et cetera

 

Participation in the event

In order to promote students' presentation skills and personal growth, we encourage students to actively participate in on-campus presentations and events, and off-campus events such as the Baekbeom Kim-Goo Journal Reading-essay writing Contest, the Nursery Rhyme singing Contest, My Dream speech Contest and the Han-Guel Day event etc., organized by Naks-Mac and the student reporter team of South Korea, and the Spelling Bee competition organized by the National Association of Korean Schools.

 

Rules

To ensure the safety and enjoyment of our students’ school experience, Students should follow the rules of Camden County Elementary, Middle, and High School. Students actively cooperate with the advice of their homeroom teacher, principal, and vice principal and do their best to make school life enjoyable.
Students who repeatedly break the rules will be contacted by their homeroom teacher, principal, vice principal, and parents, therefore, they may lose their school admission privilege when enrolling for the next semester.

 

Uniform

As set by Camden County's Cherry Hill Area Elementary, Middle, and High Schools.

 

Responsibility for Accidents or Incidents

If a student damages school buildings or other objects, parents are responsible for compensating them.
All teachers from the principal to the vice principal will do their best to ensure the safety of the students, however, neither the teacher nor the school is responsible for any accidents or incidents that occur at the school.

Parents' Cooperation

1. To improve students' Korean language skills, it is highly recommended that they practice the Korean language with their children at home.

2. If you would like to have an interview with your homeroom teacher, please contact them in advance so that they can talk to you outside of class. If possible, we recommend that you use email.

3. To ensure the safety and responsibility of the students the necessary transportation for outside events should be provided by the parents. If you want to carpool, you will need a parental consent form.

4. One parent must attend school events (on-campus and off-campus events, presentations, etc.). We ask for parents' voluntary participation in all other events outside of school.

5. Parents are requested to let their students in before 9:30 a.m. so that teachers will begin their classes without interruption. If your child is absent or needs to withdraw early, please contact your homeroom teacher by email or phone in advance.

6. For the safety and protection of our students, please be sure to pick up students after class in the school auditorium or directly from their classroom.

*All rules may be added, deleted, or modified by the Korean School of Southern New Jersey Board of Trustees.

 

Student Eligibility

Class Hours

Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. If you are late, withdraw early, or miss school, you must notify your homeroom teacher or school staff in advance by email, phone, or letter.
If you miss 5 unexcused absences, you may lose your school admission privilege or get a dismissal notification.

 

Semester Division

Semester 1 begins on the Saturday after Labor Day in September, and
Semester 2 begins on the Saturday of the 17th week of the school year. School usually completes at the end of May, nevertheless, dates may change due to the school schedules and weather conditions in the Cherry Hill area.

 

School Enrollment

Priority enrollment for current students begins in the second week of May. New students may register according to the registration schedule announced at a later date.
When the capacity is full, registration closes even during the registration period. However, you can be listed on the waiting list in order.
Tuition is a fixed amount per semester excluding specialized classes. The sibling discount is from the second student and there is no tuition refund.
The cost of textbooks is separate and varies by class.

If you would like to register as a student at The Korean School of Southern New Jersey, please fill out the Student Registration form (Application Form) and submit it along with the tuition fee.

The Student Registration form (Application Form) can be downloaded from the school's website or obtained from the school.
Registration can be done by mail or in person.

 

Inquiry

Tuition fees and registration methods are specified on the school's website. If there are any changes, students will be notified by a communication letter, and they will be announced separately on the school webpage or calendar.
Please be sure to register before the deadline.

 

Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying (HIB)

New Jersey has been a leader in the establishment of a strong statutory, regulatory policy and program framework to support the prevention, remediation and reporting of HIB in schools.
