Group 1 Generational Gap

This group focused their research on defining and exploring the differences between 1st, 1.5, and 2nd generation Koreans and Korean Americans. They discussed the different parenting styles between the 1st and 1.5 generations, the cultural differences, and what morals and values may be placed. The concept of assimilation and acculturation was explained and how cultural conflict can arise due to these differences in upbringing.
